New Client Information
At The Center of Connected Living – Fl we do everything we can to make your visit comfortable and private. At our downtown location, within a newly renovated and beautiful building, we provide convenient and easy parking, comfortable seating, a private receptionist, and complimentary tea or coffee. As one of my clients you will have access to my library of books – covering topics including but not limited to, spirituality, marriage and relationships, personal crisis, sexuality, personality, family dynamics, anger management and more. These are available to ‘rent’ for free.
Emotional & Mental Preparation:
I encourage all my clients to take 10-15 minutes before the session to focus thoughts, calm the body from daily stresses, and honor our time together as an opportunity for self-care and healing.
Please note that sessions are often scheduled back to back. For this reason, please make every effort to arrive at or before your appointment time. Unfortunately, if you do arrive late, I will be unable to extend our time.
Many clients have shared that it helps to think about their therapy during the week and in-between sessions. Reflecting on the conversation, jotting notes, and considering conversation for the next session helps you to stay in close relationship with your therapeutic experience. In fact, clients who implement their knowledge gained from therapy into their daily life and relationships tend to experience even greater and quicker change.
If you’re a new client, please complete the client intake form and bring this to your first therapy session. This will save you 10 – 15 minutes for completing necessary paperwork during the first session. The more thorough, honest and detailed you are helps me understand your situation more quickly.
